1. Story and lyrics from my own picture book.
2. Every drawing made in Illustrator and Photoshop.
3. Frame-by-frame animation assembled in PowerDirector, a tool not built for it.

Lyrics by David Martin. Music and vocals by Frank Ludwig (formerly of Trooper), worked out together in his home studio.

Bob and Kale, AI-made 3D

Bob and Kale: Best Friends Under the Sea

1. Story and lyrics written by David, often from one of his own picture books.
2. Characters taken from his original 2D artwork and restyled with AI into 3D, anime or steampunk looks.
3. Scene plan: every scene written out, with ChatGPT helping to pace the story and match lyrics to scenes. One scene, one clip.
4. Animation: about 18 clips per video generated in Google Flow, each up to 10 seconds.
5. Edit: clips cut together and every transition built in PowerDirector.
